We are very excited to be hosting a Children's Day in Saskatoon this month! It is at Dr. John D. Egnatoff School on Saturday, March 21.
We invite teachers to select students from grade 4-6 to join us for the day, learning about The Ramayana.
The Ramayana is one of the greatest Hindu epics on Sanskrit literature. It describes the journey and adventures of Rama, who, after being exiled to the forest for 14 years, returns to take his rightful place as King of Ayodhya. Students will be depicting this story through Orff Instruments (music), Kathak style dance, and shadow puppets (drama).
